According to a recently submitted permit application, the international chain Little Caesars — known for its low-price pizza and cheesy bread offerings — is expanding its footprint in Texas, planning to debut at a new 1,664-square-foot outpost in Schertz next spring.

Coming to an undisclosed address off of FM 1103, the fast-casual eatery will land on the Shertz dining scene at the same time as newcomers such as Salata, Slim Chickens, and True Texas BBQ.

What Now San Antonio reached out to the location’s franchisee, Paul Gorman, to inquire about his plans for the upcoming restaurant; however, he could not provide additional information before publication.

Nevertheless, the filing reveals that the “new construction building scope shall include finish out of the interior to include new non-load-bearing wall, ceiling, floor finishes, seating, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.” Renovations are scheduled to begin on October 1, 2025, and are expected to be completed on April 1, 2026. For an estimated $850,000, the Irving-based firm ID Studio4 will oversee the project.

For readers who are unfamiliar with the history of the franchise, Little Caesars was founded in 1959 by Mike and Marian Ilitch in Garden City, Michigan. Today, it’s headquartered in Detroit and operates over 4,203 locations. Little Caesars can be found in every US state, as well as internationally in Asia, Europe, North America, and South America.
