According to a recently submitted alcohol license application, a new concept listed as Silver Creek BBQ is preparing to debut in San Jose.
Coming to 4898 San Felipe Road, Suite 150 — taking over an address formerly home to The Funny Farm Restaurant — the eatery will soon be neighbored by establishments such as Arome Cafe & Boba, the bakery La Boulanger, and Pizza My Heart.
What Now San Francisco briefly spoke with the eatery’s owner, Lawrence Ingram Jr.; however, he could not provide further information before publication.
Ingram is also a co-owner of BBQ 152 — an old-fashioned, counter-service BBQ spot found in Gilroy — the casual, family-friendly oak-smoked sandwich shop Trail Dust BBQ in Morgan Hill, and Aptos Street BBQ in Aptos. It’s unclear, though, how Silver Creek BBQ will compare to Ingram’s existing concepts.
