Brothers Will and Joseph Jeffers, the team behind Stanbury — a restaurant in the Mordecai neighborhood of Raleigh — are expanding into the space next door at 936 N. Blount St. The space formerly belonged to Escazu Chocolates, which relocated.
The 1,600-square-foot space will go toward expanding their operations, according to the Triangle Business Journal. Expansions will likely include a larger kitchen and a cocktail bar with a light menu.
Stanbury offers seasonal dishes, highlighting produce from local farmers.
“Stanbury is a place for coming together and sharing — to assimilate and celebrate our community,” the Stanbury website states. “A place where dishes are inspired by the day’s offerings — reflecting seasonal availability and the unique qualities and mood of each day.”
The team is currently in the permitting process and there is no word yet on when the expansion will be completed.
