Located at 621 Ingraham Ave in Haines City, Rico Rico Bakery is a popular Puerto Rican bakery (and food truck) serving breakfast, lunch, sandwiches, and baked goods. The area’s response to Rico Rico has been resoundingly positive, and Rico Rico Bakery currently boasts 4.3 stars on Google.

“This is a hidden gem in the middle of the city,” says one 5-star review. “It’s not only the food that’s delicious, but also the atmosphere and the excellent service from the girls at the front. It’s definitely a must-visit!”

Now, the brand is on the move. Rico Rico Bakery & Restaurant, LLC has submitted plan review paperwork for a new restaurant, called Rico Rico Bakery & Restaurant (as opposed to the current iteration’s “Rico Rico Bakery & Cafe”), opening at 404 E Hinson Ave.

What Now reached out on Thursday to co-owner Jorge Zaragoza to ask about plans for Rico Rico Bakery & Restaurant. Zaragoza was not immediately available to talk about the project.

A post published by the bakery last week on Instagram announces that the new location is coming soon. “¡Espéranos, que ya casi estamos listos!” the post says. (Wait for us, we’re almost ready!)
