Travelers passing through Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport may soon have a new spot to grab a smoothie or sweet treat. A permit has been filed for a renovation at 2800 N Terminal Rd Suite TAR6B, listing a new Jamba-branded combo concept for the space from Cediel Concession Management, LLC, led by President & CEO Mario Cediel.
The permit, filed as a tenant finish-out, outlines plans for a full interior build within an existing lease. That includes new non-load-bearing walls, ceilings, flooring, seating, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing improvements. The total project cost is estimated at $400,000, and the finished unit will span 777 square feet.
While Jamba is clearly named in the filing, the second half of the concept is currently listed only as “Rocky.” Based on naming trends in airport concession pairings, it is speculated that this could mean Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, though that hasn’t been confirmed yet.
The project is scheduled to begin construction in August 2025 and wrap up by November 2025.
