Columbus foodies, prepare to rize and dine: Rize Cafe is officially headed to Italian Village. Slated to open at 35 E. Hubbard Ave. in the new Parkside on Pearl building, this fresh concept from local chef Jamie George promises a unique dual identity: Italian-focused café by day, intimate supper club by night.
During daylight hours, Rize will serve up artisan coffee, elevated daytime bites, takeaway meals, and a thoughtfully curated retail section. But come Thursday through Saturday evenings, the space will transform into a ticketed supper club experience, complete with multi-course tasting menus that blend rustic Italian roots with creative flair.
If you can’t wait for the full launch, you’re in luck—“Plate,” a preview pop-up of Rize Cafe, is now open inside East Market’s pop-up stall. It offers a sneak peek at both café and supper club menus, featuring summer-forward dishes like tomato water gazpacho, corn panna cotta, scallop ceviche, fennel-rubbed ahi tuna, and indulgent sweets like marcona almond shortcake and berry tiramisu.
With views overlooking Italian Village Park and a concept that blurs the line between casual café and elevated dining, Rize Cafe is shaping up to be one of the city’s most anticipated openings this year. Whether you’re swinging by for a quick bite or sitting down for a full evening of culinary storytelling, this spot is designed to delight.
