Barley and Burger is planning another location in Raleigh. The local restaurant chain is heading to 1900 Hillsborough St., formerly home to David’s Dumplings & Noodle Bar, with plans to open in October, according to a recent Instagram announcement.
“Barley & Burger is thrilled to announce the opening of our fourth location at the corner of Hillsborough Street and Oberlin Road, right near the North Carolina State University campus!” the announcement states. “A huge thank you to our amazing customers and the wonderful community for your support — this wouldn’t be possible without you! We look forward to serving up your favorite burgers and brews in Raleigh soon!”
Co-owner Will Clarke confirmed the forthcoming location with What Now Charlotte. The space will seat more than 120 people inside and will have outside seating, according to the Triangle Business Journal.
Existing locations for Barley and Burger include spots in Rocky Mount, Smithfield and Charlotte. The menu features items like wings, salads, burgers like the Truffle Shuffle (with carmelized onions, sauteed mushrooms, swiss cheese and truffle aioli) and sandwiches like the Ricky Bobby (chicken cheesesteak with bacon, jalapeños, ranch and white American cheese). There are also build-your-own burger options.
There is also a rotating selection of popular local craft beers. There will also be wine and cocktail options.
