Benoli Hospitality Group announced this week that it is expanding its Burgers & Shakes brand to two more locations. One will open in North Miami, at 899 125th Street, and a second in Miami’s MiMo District, at 5600 Biscayne Boulevard.
Actually, we knew about that last one. What Now reported on a Burgers & Shakes location headed to MiMo back in March. It’s set to open in Q1 2026, Benoli Hospitality Group said in a press release. What’s interesting is that the other location, opening in North Miami, is opening first. It’s expected before the end of the year.
The restaurant was founded by two siblings, George and Elizabeth Iglesias, in 2011. Together they created a “throwback to the golden age of classic burger joints, but with a modern high-quality twist,” the press release says. It’s a burger brand “recreating the comforting, no-nonsense burgers of their youth.”
“We’re incredibly excited to bring Burgers & Shakes to two new neighborhoods in the Magic City,” George Iglesias, who is the founder of Benoli Hospitality Group, said in the press release. “This concept was inspired by the burger joints my sister and I grew up loving, but what’s different is that we’ve elevated the ingredients and kept the same energy and soul that we had at these burger stops growing up.”
Get ready for more of Burgers & Shakes’ straightforward approach to the classic cheeseburger (as well as a whole grilled fish filet sandwich and a grilled chicken burger, plus shakes), debuting in two new locales in the coming months!
