Caché (French for ‘hidden’), a new concept from Bellomy Hospitality Group, will open on McKinney Avenue in Dallas on August 29. Brothers Ryan, Sean, and Beau Bellomy are launching an intimate cocktail lounge with acclaimed beverage director Shane Scully.

The New Orleans- and French-inspired lounge sits above the famed S&D Oyster Company (also Bellomy-owned), offering its own identity while respecting S&D’s legacy. The lounge will offer a mix of wines and small plates in a cozy, elevated setting.

Above Dallas’s historic S&D Oyster Company, a former office has been transformed into a 600-square-foot lounge with vaulted ceilings, a wood-burning fireplace, and a balcony overlooking the restaurant’s New Orleans-style courtyard.

Ryan Bellomy said, “With Caché, we wanted to honor S&D’s legacy while creating something completely new—a warm, inviting lounge where guests can enjoy world-class cocktails and small plates in an elevated, intimate setting, building on the tradition and spirit of S&D.”

Immersive Design Concept

Designed by Jones Baker, the space blends New Orleans charm with French-inspired elegance. Seating just 35, Caché is intentionally intimate, combining vaulted ceilings, exposed red brick, and plank wood paneling in a deep green scheme with brass accents and red highlights.

Folding glass doors lead to a courtyard-facing balcony; inside, a zinc bar top, antique-mirrored fireplace, and snug seating nooks evoke old-world charm. Velvet drapery and a crystal chandelier provide the finishing touches to the atmosphere.

Curated Wine Program and Selections

Advanced Sommelier Jesse Rodriguez curated a list of 18 wines by the glass and bottle, featuring sparkling selections, crisp whites, rosés, and bold reds from France, California, and beyond.

The wine program complements the refined cocktail menu and small plates, with plans to expand to about 70 selections this fall. Beverage Director Shane Scully, known for his inventive cocktails, developed the program after studying New Orleans’ historic and modern bar culture.

The menu’s signature drinks include the Oyster Co. Martini, American Graffiti, and Riffignac. Highlighted drinks include the Chantilly Lace (vanilla and cacao-washed vodka, amaretto, crème des Quatre, and Blanc de Blancs) and the Café Brûlée, a fusion of New Orleans café brûlot and an espresso martini.

The Hurricanrana is a refined take on the New Orleans hurricane, featuring Worthy Park 109 and a spiced rum blend, lemongrass fassionola, and lime.

Caché debuts on Friday, August 29, serving drinks and small plates. Seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests can enter through the Boll Street entrance or take the elevator from inside S&D.
