Unveiling a New Luxury Destination
A new project has just been added to Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, expanding the brand’s North American footprint. Situated across an 118-acre hillside estate, the Rosewood Calistoga and Rosewood Residences Calistoga will open in 2027. The retreat encourages exploration and offers guests a fresh take on Napa Valley living.
“We are proud to unveil Rosewood Calistoga, where every element is thoughtfully curated to celebrate Napa Valley’s renowned culinary heritage and distinguished viniculture.” says Radha Arora, President of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. “Through our Sense of Place philosophy, we will continue to prioritize our commitment to excellence by offering innovative experiences and fostering meaningful connections.”
Located within the lush forests of Napa Valley, the resort reimagines the retreat shaped by the land, its legacy, and the lifestyle of the locale.
A Design Ethos Connecting People and Place
The Rosewood Calistoga is located across Calistoga’s forested ridgeline. Surrounded by the lush forest, it is situated steps away from the heart of downtown. The original vision for the property was once envisioned by renowned architect Ed Tuttle. Now, design studio Atelier Marsh will carry on his legacy and bring his vision to life.
The plan is to harmonize modern refinements with the warmth of the wine country. The 129 guestrooms, suites, and residences will reflect the natural terrain and seasons. Interiors will reflect the warmth of wine country while incorporating modern refinements.
Supporting contentment and community, the spaces within will be filled with local motifs and natural materials. Rosewood Residences Calistoga will follow the same throughout its 20 private villas and 13 homesites.
Culinary and Wellness Experiences
Rosewood focuses on creating experiences designed to be memorable and meaningful. From culinary treats to wellness, the resort aims to create a relaxed atmosphere. This is a place where people come together for a moment of relaxation amidst nature and luxury.
Celebrating togetherness, life at Rosewood Calistoga brings together growers, artisans, residents, and visitors. A farm-to-table dining experience will bring locally sourced ingredients to all. The signature will be the ever-changing menu that brings fresh produce to the table.
Highlights include a cocktail bar featuring craft mixology and a wine program that celebrates the region. Meanwhile, the poolside eatery will bring a relaxed atmosphere with a view of the vineyard. Immersive experiences, including cooking workshops and starlit vineyard dinners, only heighten the experience.
Apart from the culinary treat, Rosewood also brings its wellness concept, Asaya, to Calistoga. Guests can opt for guided treatments in the six treatment rooms. Guests can also choose from a range of therapies focused on relaxation and rejuvenation. An outdoor garden, hydrotherapy experiences, and a fitness center will elevate relaxation.
The property will feature two pools, including one for adults and another for families. Guests can also take advantage of the 20,000 square feet indoor and outdoor event space for gatherings of all kinds. They will offer guests a space to share stories and connect.
Residents of the Rosewood Residences Calistoga can also enjoy access to these amenities. Residents will also enjoy exclusive privileges through the Rosewood Reserve program.
With the Calistoga opening, Rosewood strengthens its position as a leader in ultra-luxury travel and residential living. Rooted in Rosewood’s Sense of Place philosophy, this project will set a new benchmark for next-generation hospitality.
