As Madisonville continues to evolve, new businesses are opening up, and perhaps there’s no greater sign of a town’s growth than Waffle House planting its flag there. According to a permit filed with St. Tammany Parish, Waffle House is clearing land for a new location at 105 Hwy. 1085 in Madisonville. The permit was created on August 19, and a formal announcement from the company has not been made regarding the location.

In addition to filing for a permit in Madisonville, Waffle House Inc. has recently purchased land in Covington, likely to build out a new location. Records indicate the company paid $399,999 in May for a lot at the emerging Northpointe Business Park Subdivision development.
