ROUND1 Bowling & Arcade, an all-ages entertainment complex, along with YUU Japanese Food Hall, is preparing to open in Palmdale at 1305 W Rancho Vista Blvd.
The company’s newest location is set to take over the former Forever 21 space inside Antelope Valley Mall. While an official opening date has not yet been announced, a recent liquor license application indicates that progress is underway for the highly anticipated opening. Guests can expect to find arcade games, bowling, and a diverse selection of Japanese street food.
Founded in Japan and now with numerous U.S. locations, ROUND1 is known for its combination of entertainment and food in a family-friendly environment. The Palmdale site will include the YUU Japanese Food Hall concept, which has also been announced for two new locations in San Diego. The company is actively expanding across California, including a recently confirmed site in Mission Valley Mall, and another in Escondido featuring the brand’s Spo-Cha sports entertainment zone.
YUU Japanese Food Hall is a curated culinary experience featuring 14 award-winning Japanese street food vendors, each selected for their prominence in Japan. Menu offerings include ramen, sushi, curry, takoyaki, onigiri, gelato, and more, with items crafted by chefs recognized for their culinary excellence.
ROUND1’s entertainment offerings typically include bowling, karaoke, billiards, and arcade games, with some locations featuring pickleball courts, indoor batting cages, and basketball as part of the Spo-Cha concept. The Palmdale location is expected to follow the brand’s signature all-in-one format, making it a full-day destination for families, groups, and casual visitors.
This will be an excellent location for the new ROUND1 and YUU, considering Antelope Valley Mall’s high visibility, established foot traffic, and growing demand for immersive dining and entertainment options in the area.
