According to a recently submitted alcohol license application, a new concept listed as sMAC’n Noodles plans to debut in New Braunfels.
Coming to 1515 N Walnut Avenue, taking over a building that was previously home to Petals to Go — which relocated to 1847 Hwy. 46, Ste. H earlier this year — the eatery will soon be neighbored by establishments such as the Mexican cuisine restaurant Herbert’s, Jolt Drive-Thru Coffee, and Las Fontanas.
What Now San Antonio reached out to the concept’s owner, James Acosta, to inquire about his plans for the upcoming restaurant; however, he could not provide additional information before publication.
Nevertheless, the filing reveals that construction of the 2,400-square-foot space is slated to begin on September 1 and to be completed by March 2026. For $200,000, the project will be carried out by local firm 24/7 Design Architecture and Planning.
The business already operates one location in Seguin at 225 N. Saunders Street, Suite 7. This will mark its second outpost.
Menu offerings will include a selection of pasta plates, including options such as the Buffalo MAC, the Tikka MAC, and the Taco MAC. Salads, sides — such as a cup of broccoli and chips — and desserts like cookies and brownies are also available.
An opening date has not been announced yet. Follow What Now San Antonio on Facebook for updates.
