According to Culture Map San Antonio, the Stone Oak-based seafood restaurant and bar Arenas Marisqueria Lounge is debuting a new outpost in West San Antonio.
Coming to 1322 W Loop 1604 N — joining the upcoming retail center West 1604 Market, per Culture Map — the eatery will soon be neighbored by establishments such as Pizza Hut and Walgreens, and land just down the street from the theme park chain Sea World.
For readers who haven’t had the opportunity to visit Arenas Marisqueria Lounge in Stone Oak, the dining concept is known for its seafood menu based on family recipes.
A signature dish is ceviche, tossed in either a verde marinade (a house-made green aguachile sauce with fresh lime juice, serrano peppers, and creamy avocado), a dulce marinade made of classic shrimp cocktail sauce, or a blend of Worcestershire sauce, Maggi seasoning, fresh lime juice, and Salsa Huichol Negra.
Additional offerings include salads, seafood cocktails, soups, tacos, tostadas, and entrees such as shrimp enchiladas, fried fish fillets served with rice and beans, and grilled steak with fries.
What Now San Antonio reached out to a co-owner of Arenas Marisqueria Lounge, Luis Vazquez, to learn more about his plans for the upcoming location; however, he could not provide additional information before the time of publication.
