According to a recently submitted alcohol license application, the catering business The Cook and The Drummer plans to debut a brick-and-mortar restaurant in Sebastopol.
Coming to 6811 Laguna Park Way, the eatery will soon be a neighbor to establishments such as the bakery Patisserie Angelica, Rialto Cinemas, and Taylor Lane Organic Coffee.
What Now San Francisco reached out to the business’s co-owner, Kevin Boisset — who operates The Cook and The Drummer alongside Chef Lisa Boisset — to learn more about what the two have planned for their upcoming restaurant; however, he could not provide additional information before publication.
For readers who are unfamilair with The Cook and The Drummer, the catering company briefly introduces itself on its website: “We are a full-service catering company based in Sonoma County, the heart of California wine country. Our goal at The Cook and The Drummer is to provide professionalism through our staff, service, and delicious, thoughtful food. We offer an extensive list of trusted vendors to complement our services, which include music, rentals, floral design, and wedding coordination.”
“Lisa Boisset is a graduate of the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco and the Cordon Bleu in Paris. She has managed some of the nation’s top restaurants and has 20 years of experience as an executive chef and caterer… Her specialties include California cuisine, traditional French cooking, and seafood,” the statement continues.
“Kevin Boisset has been playing drums since he was nine. Born and raised in Paris, France, Kevin has made a name for himself in the Bay Area. As a jazz drummer, he has special connections and relationships with a wide variety of musicians and bands in the North Bay and Bay Area. Whether it’s classical, jazz, rock and roll, contemporary singer-songwriter music, or another genre, Kevin will work one-on-one with you to coordinate the perfect music for your event,” it concludes.
