People who have dreamed of munching on sushi and slurping on hot pot while a robot server brings them beer are about to have that very specific dream come true. When it opens in October in Denham Springs, Sushi Ninja will deftly combine several East Asian culinary arts, offering sushi, hot pot, and Korean barbecue all under one roof.

Co-owner Ren Yigui recently told What Now New Orleans that his ownership group, which also owns the Tokyo Japan sushi restaurant in Abbeville, specifically chose Denham Springs for this modern concept.

“Denham Springs is growing,” he said. “I think it’s a great opportunity to be there, and then we got a pretty good location.”

Located in the former P-Beau’s at 121 Bass Pro Blvd., Sushi Ninja will offer all-you-can-eat for all of its different food options. While some food will be available at a buffet, some food and drinks will be brought by automated robot servers. Yigui said there are plans to launch an all-you-can-drink option for the bar after an initial opening phase. The restaurant also features a large patio space, and plans are in place to host live music there.
