The local Eugene brewery has big plans for this year as a restaurant is opening at the space.

In a recent social media post, owners Stephen and Dan Hughes announced their restaurant addition coming to Coldfire Brewing at 263 Mill Street in Eugene. Currently, this is a craft brewery that also serves packaged beer. It is listed as coming in the fall, and right now the space is under construction.

Coldfire currently has food carts operating at the brewery, and the team is already trying out a new grill that was installed. The menu hasn’t been released, but in a recent post they were working on burgers topped with house-made krauts and mustards. Salads and roasted vegetables are planned as well.

“We’ve got some special planning for this space, can’t wait to share it with you guys,” Stephen said in the social media post.

The business was started by Dan and Stephen who have been homebrewers since 2001. They infuse Northwest ingredients into their beers, and over the years have built a brewery that serves the community. They also make the beer out of the Eugene location.

The brewery is in the Market District area, near the bank of the Willamette River. Right next to Coldfire is the Yabai Nikkei Japanese restaurant, and also near it is Rye, a French cuisine spot. Their brewery is an open space almost like a garage, with outdoor seating and tents set up

The team will be providing updates about the restaurant on their social media as time goes on. What Now Portland has reached out to the owners of Coldfire Brewing, and this article may be updated.
