With eight locations in Florida, Naked Farmer is a perennial favorite for “locally-sourced healthy dining options.” The brand already has one restaurant open in St. Petersburg, but now, according to coverage by St. Pete Rising, it’s preparing to double down on its hometown with a new location opening at 2631 Fourth Street N.

Investing close to home is always promising counterpoint to expansions out of state: indeed, Naked Farmer also has locations in the works in Nashville and Charlotte.

Naked Who?” says the Naked Farmer website. “We’re chefs, farmers, food revolutionaries. We’re your neighbors, the ones on a mission to build a better food system from the ground up by feeding you the most local, farm-fresh food from nearby. We call it ‘unmessed-with deliciousness.’”

Current Seasonal Highlights from the Naked Farmer menu include the Golden Beet & Burrata Salad (Fresh Local Burrata, Golden Beets, Summer Tomatoes, Baby Arugula, Farm Greens with Mint, Pickled Onion, Pistachio Streusal, Basil Pesto (un)dressing), the Summer BBQ Chicken Salad (Roasted BBQ Chicken Breast, Shaved Cabbage, Tuscan Kale, Charred Corn, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Radishes, Cilantro, Cotija Cheese, Half Avocado, Cilantro Lime Vinaigrette), and the Skinny Protein Plate (Grass-fed Steak, Rosemary Roasted Chicken Breast, Street Cart Corn, Summer Tomatoes, Pecan Kale Caesar, Golden Quinoa, Farm Greens with Mint, Basil Pesto (un)dressing).

What Now reached out to Founder & CEO Jordan Johnson on Thursday to ask about the new location. Johnson was not immediately available to comment on the news.
