South Bradenton’s restaurant community appears to be adding a new bagel brand into the mix.
This week, What Now came across plan review documents submitted by Jersey Bagel 1 LLC for a restaurant that would open at 2111 Cortex Road W, near the intersection with 20th Street West.
What Now reached out on Wednesday to Fadi Makanast, one of the partners behind Jersey Bagel, to ask about plans for the opening. Makanast was not immediately available to talk about the new bagel shop.
This will keep us guessing for the moment, but stay tuned as What Now is awaiting more details.
Opening in the Cortez Road West location, Jersey Bagel would join Tijuana Flats in a building situated near South Bradenton’s Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, in a restaurant community that also includes nearby fast and fast-casual concepts like Wawa, Waffle House, and Juicys Famous Fair Food.
