El Campo residents will soon be able to grab a gallon of sweet tea without leaving their cars. HTeaO is moving forward with plans for a new location at 606 N Mechanic St, led by Franchisee Joanie Somers.

Permit filings show that the project will be a ground-up build covering 2,150 square feet. The design follows the brand’s familiar model, with a quick-service drive-thru, walk-in space, and a lineup of freshly brewed iced teas that have built a strong following across Texas and beyond.

The company has gained traction in recent years by offering an alternative to traditional coffee shops, appealing to customers who want customizable flavors, convenient pick-up, and even bulk gallon jugs for family gatherings or events. Each store also typically offers snack options and HTeaO-branded merchandise.

Construction on the El Campo location is set to begin in October 2025 per a permit on file with the state, with completion expected by March 2026.
