Kinship Butcher & Sundry is preparing to expand to its second location, with plans to open at 1039 Grant St SE, Suite 100, in Grant Park in fall 2026, according to a release. It will take over the space formerly home to the Beacon.
The 4,000-square-foot space will allow husband-and-wife duo Myles Moody and Rachael Pack to expand their operations, with an expanded butcher shop that will allow for more whole-animal production, a seafood-butchery program, a dry-aging program and locally-sourced seasonal produce and products.
Kinship is known for serving breakfast and lunch sandwiches as well as natural wines, market provisions and fresh produce. The new location will also feature an all-day cafe, offering Kinship’s beloved breakfast sandwiches with new seafood and meat dishes, as well.
The announcement comes shortly after the team launched their fine-dining tasting menu pop-up k|n. The pop-up debuted in their Virginia-Highland space in August and quickly sold out of its 2025 reservation slots.
These new concepts are part of a larger expansion for Pack Hospitality, which Moody and Pack launched in 2024. In addition to Kinship and k|n, it will include an Atlanta-based farm known as Under Acre Farm, where they plan to grow fresh, organic produce. The team emphasizes zero-waste in their concepts, which they will continue to employ as they grow.
