Goop Kitchen, Gwyneth Paltrow’s fast-casual restaurant offering healthy, gluten-free meals, is expanding to the San Francisco Bay Area.
The company plans to open new locations in San Jose, Sunnyvale, and San Francisco by the end of 2025, according to Eater San Francisco. The new locations will replace existing restaurant spaces, with the San Jose site opening at 949 Ruff Drive by the end of October 2025. The Sunnyvale location at 1026 West Evelyn Avenue is set for an early November 2025 opening, while the San Francisco location at 60 Morris Street in SoMa will follow in December 2025. Goop Kitchen will operate as delivery and take-out only, with the San Jose location offering delivery exclusively.
Goop Kitchen was founded in 2021 as part of Gwyneth Paltrow’s wellness brand, which has expanded into various sectors, including e-commerce and health-related products. The restaurant was first introduced in Southern California, with a focus on clean, gluten-free meals that align with Goop’s health-conscious philosophy. The new locations in the Bay Area will continue this model, focusing on high-quality, sustainable ingredients with no processed sugars, gluten, dairy, or preservatives.
The new Bay Area openings will offer a mix of signature Goop Kitchen dishes, including salads, bowls, wraps, soups, gluten-free pizza, and rotisserie chicken. The menu also features specialty items such as turmeric-spiced chicken bone broth and the “Goop Father Italian Chopped Salad.” Many vegan options will be available, and all sauces and dressings will be labeled “Goop Certified Clean” (GCC).
The San Francisco Bay Area expansion represents Goop Kitchen’s continued growth in the fast-casual dining sector. The brand’s focus on delivery and take-out options is tailored to today’s busy consumer, providing healthy meals on the go. Goop Kitchen’s commitment to clean eating and sustainability will resonate with Bay Area residents seeking nutritious, convenient dining options.
