Back in May, What Now reported on Tampa-based barbecue restaurant Outside BBQ’s plans to open a new location at 3607 N Nebraska Ave. At the time, owner and chef Jevonta Godwin told What Now that location was expected to open at the end of the year—so that time should be coming soon!

Meanwhile, before the year is even out, Outside BBQ appears to be planning another new location, this time in St. Pete Beach. Plan review documents submitted by Outside BBQ LLC show a new Outside BBQ opening at 6305 Gulf Blvd.

Outside BBQ serves up barbecue “low & slow, the way it should be.” It’s a “casual join fixing up Southern-style BBQ dishes including ribs, brisket, and pulled pork, with sides!”

Those sides include Homemade Mac-N-Cheese, Collard Greens, BBQ Baked Beans, Potato Salad, and more.

The 6305 Gulf Blvd location was previously occupied by Fo’Cheezy Twisted Meltz. Opening in its place, Outside BBQ would join restaurants like Agave Restaurant, Basil Leaf Thai & Sushi Bar, and McNasty’s Sports.
