Michelin-Starred Vision

Alex Hong shares, “With Arquet, I get to cook the kind of food I love to eat with loved ones: seasonal, fun, and meant to be shared. The Bay Area has such an incredible bounty, and this restaurant gives us the chance to showcase that in a way that feels both vibrant and approachable.”

Adding to this, co-owner and Director of Operations Joel Wilkerson said, “Arquet is about connection and conviviality. We hope it becomes a restaurant people return to again and again, whether for a casual lunch or a long dinner with family and friends.”

“The Ferry Building is such an iconic part of San Francisco’s food culture, and it felt like the right place to bring this idea to life,” mentioned Wilkerson.

With Arquet joining the lineup, San Francisco’s historic Ferry Building adds another destination dining option to its renowned marketplace.

By serving dinner, Arquet supports the Ferry Building’s goal of becoming a lively, all-day destination for locals and visitors. The restaurant is inviting locals and visitors alike to experience its charm well beyond daylight hours.

“Arquet is exactly the kind of concept we love to see at the Ferry Building: rooted in craft, sustainability, and community. Alex and Joel’s team has created something that will feel instantly welcoming to locals and visitors alike, and we cannot wait for everyone to try it,” said Jane Connors, general manager of the Ferry Building.

Beyond that, the restaurant also serves BBQ duck with kimchi and Asian pear, rack of pork with grilled peaches, and grass-fed ribeye.

To complete the meal, Arquet offers notable treats like ube Basque cheesecake and warm cookies with marshmallow milk. The menu highlights and celebrates the best of Northern California’s seasonal bounty.

Parachute Bakery, the team’s daytime pastry spot, is a natural complement to Arquet. The restaurant extends the dining experience into lunch and dinner with a casual, seasonal, and shareable approach to dining. Reservations and dinner service begin Wednesday, October 15, with lunch service coming soon.
