Buffetopia promises to provide a culinary feast like no other, as its website shares. The largest Asian Fusion Buffet in Humble is now making its way to 12942 Willow Chase Drive for its second iteration, which is set to open doors in October 2026.
“We’re expecting to bring the community value meals that everybody can afford, and it will still be quality fresh food, fresh seafood, grill, and BBQ,” said Buffetopia owner, Xinpeng Li, in an interview with What Now Houston.
According to this filed Texas permit for the eatery, the new location is going to be bigger, and Li says it may very well be better.
The new location will sit at a whopping 21,002 square feet when completed next fall. The new Buffetopia is a far cry from its 7,000-square-foot counterpart in Humble. With more space, Li said, will come more food.
“You can get everything you want, and it will be amazing,” the restaurantuer shared.
The all-you-can-eat Asian buffet has a sushi bar, hibachi grill, salad and dessert bar, hot pot options, and all the fresh seafood one could gobble down in one sitting. Li said the location on Willow Chase Drive will offer even more food and even more options.
“It will be unforgettably memorable,” Li said.
And that’s been the intention from the beginning. Li opened Buffetopia in Humble with love on Valentine’s Day this year. But the buffet owner shares that this was not the first restaurant he opened, offering a multitude of delicacies, and it wasn’t even dubbed Buffetopia. Li said his first opening was actually Kioku Supreme Buffet in Carmel.
“We did very well in our first one,” Li said.
The proof is in the opening of a third location. But Li shared that he’s not stopping there. He expects to open more Buffetopias later on down the line. But, for now, he’s focused on delivering a world-class experience to his new Houston customers when he opens next year.
“We’re also expecting people to get a good meal and a good moment with their family,” Li said.
