Commerce Corner, the business center located on the northwest corner of West Spring Mountain Road and Red Rock Street, appears to be welcoming a new Korean restaurant into the mix.
Business license paperwork was submitted recently by NLB6000 LLC to Clark County for Cho Jang Zip, a restaurant that would open at 6000 Spring Mountain Rd, in Suite 3-B.
This writer’s familiarity with Korean should definitely be taken with a grain of salt (and, why not, a dollop of doenjang), but the “Cho Jang” of the name should refer to cho gochujang, a sauce made by mixing vinegar with Korean red chili paste (gochujang). “Zip,” meanwhile, translates to house.
Behind the submitted paperwork is owner Sun Ma. What Now reached out to Sun Ma on Wednesday to ask about Cho Jang Zip’s plans for opening and its menu offerings; Sun Ma was not immediately available for comment.
Opening in Commerce Corner, Cho Jang Zip would join restaurants like Tang Tang Tang, Seoul Tofu, and Sweet Mong.
Stay tuned for possible updates as more details become available.
