Caffeine Cauldron, the coffee shop that offers a bit of magic and fantasy with your beverages, is opening a location at Superstition Springs Center, at 6555 E. Southern Avenue in Mesa. The center announced the imminent arrival of the shop on website, though no opening date has been announced.
Caffeine Cauldron serves coffee beverages, but it’s much more than a place to get a drink. The original Tucson shop was founded by Mark Kadow as a, “sanctuary for all enthusiasts of the geeky realm”, according to its site.
The shop caters to lovers of pop culture, books, poetry, fantasy, and game and is a welcoming place for people to gather over a beverage and make new friends. The shop hosts regular events such as book club nights, true crime clubs, craft nights, and other themed gatherings.
The shop prides itself as being a safe space for people of all ages to enjoy themselves whether they want to curl up with a good book, play a game, or just chat over a coffee. The coffee shop ensures this by employing a “nerd-centric” staff of friendly people.
Caffeine Cauldron serves a variety of non-alcoholic beverages — all with fantastical names such as the Sonic Speed Latte, the Wookie Roar, and Sherlock’s Mocha Mystery.
