Grab A Crab, a seafood boil and barbecue restaurant known for its Cajun-inspired dishes, is getting ready to open in Baldwin Park at 14635-A Baldwin Park Towne Center.
The company’s third location is set to replace the now-closed Sizzler attached to Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles Baldwin Park, according to a recent liquor license application. Co-owner Youchun Cao tells What Now Los Angeles that the restaurant is expected to open sometime next year, likely in February 2026. Guests can expect a menu centered on seafood boils, snow crab legs, and a variety of fried seafood baskets.
Grab A Crab currently operates locations in Hacienda Heights and Monterey Park, where it has developed a following for its customizable seafood boils and casual dining experience. The brand combines Cajun and Asian flavors, allowing guests to select their preferred sauce and spice level for items such as shrimp, mussels, clams, crawfish, and lobster.
The concept is built around offering fresh seafood with a focus on value, quality, and variety. The restaurant’s existing locations feature casual dining environments suitable for groups and families, often complemented by in-store entertainment that adds a playful touch. The new space in Baldwin Park is expected to continue that tradition, adding to the growing mix of dining options in the Towne Center area.
Menu highlights include combo seafood boils, fried baskets featuring shrimp, calamari, and oysters, as well as signature items like Bang Bang Shrimp and Seafood Alfredo. Guests can also enjoy sides such as garlic noodles, gumbo, and Cajun chowder. Each location features a “mess-free feast kit” with bibs and gloves to enhance the hands-on dining experience.
