Bari Ristorante is cooking up its second location, and the Italian eatery is expected to open its new doors in Spring 2026 in a location you may very well know. According to a recent state filing, Bari Ristorante will open in March of next year at 24 Waterway Ave., Ste. 125.
If the location sounds familiar, that’s because it is. 24 Waterway sits in The Woodlands and once housed the acclaimed culinary destination Tris, which recently shuttered in January this year. According to its website, Tris closed following the resignation of Chef Austin Simmons.
Construction on the new Italian fine dining spot is expected to start in November and wrap up in March of next year.
The Bari Hospitality Group is taking over the space with Pedro Teyuca at the helm. According to the Houston Business Journal, the chef in charge will be Renato Dr Pirro. Pirro is Bari Ristorante’s executive chef. Local restaurateur Thomas “Tommy” Nally will also lead the charge in this venture as he is Bari’s operating partner.
Pirro is perfectly matched for the concept with more than 30 years of contemporary and fine dining experience in Italy and the U.S.
You can expect the beloved menu Bari Ristorante’s flagship location currently dishes out at 444 Westheimer Rd. Ste. A175 to also be served at the new Bari Ristorante’s new location in The Woodlands.
Customers can experience “respect for Italian food in a setting that evokes the stylish glamour of Milan and Rome. Serving classic dishes found from the mountains to the sea,” as its website reads. Besides Bari Ristorante’s $250.00 pre-fixe White Truffle menu, the Italian restaurant also has a brunch, lunch, dinner, dolci, and after-dinner, and amo il vino menu. Options include appetizers, salads, and soups, and main dishes with items like avocado crab cake, caprese salad, seafood platter, and branzino all griglia-a parsnip purée, sautéed cauliflower, and romesco sauce.
Try out Bari Ristorante’s extensive, delicious Italian menu for yourself in The Woodlands when Bari Ristorante opens its doors there at 24 Waterway Ave., Ste. 125 in March 2026.
