Lucky Goat Coffee Co., the Tallahassee-based roastery and shop, is opening a location in The Villages.
Lucky Goat is set to be a tenant at Eastport, according to a LinkedIn post by commercial real estate broker Elizabeth Deese and a post by The Villages. The new location does not yet have an official opening date.
Lucky Goat joins Eastport Town Center, located in the heart of the growing community between Country Road 470 and the Southern Oaks Bridge. The 250-acre development will offer shopping, dining, entertainment, and golf to residents of the nearby communities. The Villages Lucky Goat does not yet have an official opening date.
Lucky Goat began roasting coffee in 2010 with the purpose to provide quality beans to other shops. Then, individuals started to ask if they could purchase the beans. A storefront and cafe was opened to serve these people with a mission to both make great coffee for its customers — but to also educate them on how to make great coffee at home. Owner Dan Watkins has grown the company from that one roasting facility to more than a dozen locations.
Lucky Goat is dedicated to make coffee for everyone whether its a refreshing cold brew or a single-origin experience. The company also provides tours and classes so people can fully enjoy their coffee experience.
