The team behind Perenn Bakery is introducing a new concept to Nashville, with plans to open Perenn Grocery in Wedgewood-Houston in summer 2026, according to a recent Instagram announcement. The spot will open along Martin Street in mixed-use development Wedgewood Village.

The concept comes from Aubrey and Tyler O’Laskey, the owners behind Perenn Bakery, which now has locations open in Franklin and Berry Hill. They launched the brand in 2018 in Reno, Nevada, where they still have three locations of the bakery as well as one location of Perenn Grocery.

“From cooking out of the back of our Subaru in Lake Tahoe as private chefs to building bakeries, cafes and Perenn Grocery in Nevada, every chapter has taught us something that’s led to this moment,” the O’Laskeys wrote in the announcement. “Inspired by small European markets and the producers we’ve met along the way, this next chapter is about carefully grown and raised goods, curated design and bringing hospitality back into the everyday chore.”

Perenn Grocery offers a grocery store, bakery and cafe all in one concept. Like existing Perenn locations, it will offer in-house baked goods such as breads and pastries. However, it will also offer local produce, meats and pantry items. The existing Perenn Grocery in Nevada also offers espresso beverages on site.

The O’Laskeys are also behind Claio Rotisserie, a rotisserie-style restaurant in Reno.
