The owners of Brewline Coffee are opening a new location just north of Pearl District.

A liquor license application was recently submitted for Brewline Cafe & Bar in Northwest Portland. This will be a cafe open in the morning, as well as evening hours for dinner and drinks. The owner, who does not want to be revealed yet, is hoping to open around Dec. 1 or later.

He previously had a location at 1101 NE 99th Avenue next to the light rail station which is now closed. For the new cafe, they will mostly keep the same menu, serving hot and cold coffees, bagels, sandwiches and pastries. During evening hours, he said they are experimenting with an evening menu to serve items like tacos.

The hours when the business opens will be 7 a.m.-7 p.m., and hours will be extended during the summer. Inside, there is space for 36 to sit inside and eight outside.

Right now, it is early in Brewline’s opening process. More information on the shop’s debut will be released in the coming weeks.
