Located at 9275 W Russell Rd, Suite 180, at The Gramercy, until it closed, Karved offered “modernized versions of your favorite comfort foods.” Now, an acclaimed Mediterranean restaurant in action for more than 50 years is coming to take its place: Fort Worth, Texas’s Hedary’s Mediterranean.

“We’re going to be opening hopefully in January,” a representative told What Now on Wednesday. “We’ll be serving both lunch and dinner.”

The representative said most of the details on the restaurant are still under wraps. A few are shareable, however: Unlike Karved, which had a quick-service model, Hedary’s Mediterranean will be a sit-down restaurant. It has also applied for a full liquor license.

Although details on the menu cannot are still secret, we’re waiting on an update that will provide more info.

“We’re excited!” the representative said. “It’s a restaurant from the Hedary family, so of course it’s going to be the best food. We’ve been doing this for fifty years, so we’ve learned a few things!”

In the meantime, Hedary’s has launched an early form of its website, hedaryslv.com. Stay tuned for more about the Hedary’s Mediterranean launch!
