Valley of the Sun Cosmetics, LLC has approached the California Central Bankruptcy Court as its debts continue to grow in a consistent manner. The Gardena, California-based personal care product manufacturing company is hoping to continue functioning during the process.

Valley of the Sun Cosmetics, LLC Seeks Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Protection

According to Pacer, Valley of the Sun Cosmetics, LLC made the official Chapter 11 filing in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court of the Central District of California. The manufacturer from California submitted the voluntary petition this Tuesday.

Valley of the Sun Cosmetics, LLC makes personal care products, including hair care, natural skin care, vitamins, and cosmetics. The California-based company develops and markets its products with a focus on innovative formulas.

Some brands covered by Valley of the Sun Cosmetics, LLC are Hollywood Style, Bee Organic, Romeo Juliet, Mochi Smooshi, and Spanish Garden.

Valley of the Sun Cosmetics, LLC plans to keep its normal operations active during the bankruptcy.

Bankruptcy Details

The details available on PacerMonitor show that Valley of the Sun Cosmetics, LLC initiated the Chapter 11 process on November 18 by paying $1,738. Attorney Matthew Abbasi from Abbasi Law Corporation is offering legal representation to the California-based manufacturer in the California Central Bankruptcy Court.

The court has also directed Valley of the Sun Cosmetics, LLC to submit Schedules D, G, and H by the same deadline.

The personal care product manufacturer must also submit the Statement of Financial Affairs (Form 107 or 207) and Disclosure of Compensation of Attorney for Debtor (Form 2030) by December 2. Additionally, the bankruptcy court asked the manufacturer to declare if the business received income from an employer in the 60 days before filing on November 18.

Apart from these, the California Central Bankruptcy Court instructed the cosmetic manufacturer to submit all other incomplete filings by December 2.

Attorney Matthew Abbasi, on behalf of Valley of the Sun Cosmetics, LLC, submitted the Statement of Corporate Ownership on November 18. He also submitted the Corporate Resolution showing the approval of the petition by the California company on the same day.

With its Chapter 11 case now active, Valley of the Sun Cosmetics, LLC will reorganize while continuing operations.
