Playa Bowls has started the season with a winter menu to offer warm flavors to customers around the country. The menu combines the comfort of cold weather with the freshness of the brand, highlighted by new bowls and smoothies inspired by winter treats.

Available for a limited time, the seasonal offerings aim to keep customers energized and satisfied throughout the chilly months.

Experience the Comfort With Playa Bowls’ Winter Specials

The most popular superfruit bowl chain in the country, Playa Bowls, which is known as the home of the colorful bowls, smoothies, juices, and cold brew, has welcomed a new set of winter items.

The Winter Specials started on November 18 and will run through December. It includes the following options:

  • Berry Good Morning Oatmeal Bowl: Steel-cut oatmeal with blueberry flax granola, strawberries, blueberries, and a drizzle of honey to naturally brighten the day.
  • Banana Power Oatmeal Bowl: A high-protein mixture of steel-cut oatmeal, chocolate protein, banana, and blueberry flax granola, topped with a creamy peanut butter layer.
  • North Pole Acai Bowl: It is a signature acai base of the Playa, which is topped with blueberry flax granola, banana, strawberry, Nutella, and crushed peppermint to make it festive.
  • Avalanche Coconut Bowl: Coconut mixed with blue spirulina and Cocowhip, with blueberry flax granola, banana, strawberries, walnuts, coconut flakes, and cinnamon to get a cool tropical feel.
  • Frosted Hazelnut Smoothie: The dessert-inspired blend of coconut, banana, cacao nibs, chocolate protein, coconut milk, and Nutella, served with a swirl of Cocowhip.
  • Peppermint Pick Me Up Cold Brew: Chicory cold brew and oat milk with sweet cream and crushed peppermint on top, and Cocowhip to finish the winter-bright taste.

“Most winter menus go all-in on hot chocolate and heavy comfort food, but we wanted to bring something fresh, energizing, and true to our brand,” said Abby Taylor, co-founder and chief marketing officer of Playa Bowls. “These bowls and blends have all the cozy, nostalgic flavors people love this time of year—just with that bright, feel-good spin that keeps Playa, Playa.”

Offers and Winter Specials for Customers

According to PRNewswire, to honor the season, Playa Rewards members will receive a discount of $3 on any Winter Special from November 18-22, giving a perfect reason to try the new limited menu and take a little cold-weather comfort. The winter menu is available in-store, online, and via the Playa Bowls app.

In addition to a seasonal menu, Playa Bowls is offering a broad assortment of signature bowls, and customers have the option to create their own using a variety of superfoods such as acai, pitaya, coconut, kale, banana, oatmeal, and mango.

Toppings like fresh fruit, nuts, seeds, granola, and dried berries, as well as nut butters, can be added to personalize further, and an entire menu of juices, smoothies, cold brew, and grab-and-go beverages is available as well. The majority of the products are vegan or gluten-free.

About Playa Bowls

Abby Taylor and Rob Giuliani established Playa Bowls when they fell in love with the acai and pitaya bowls they tried in the various surf locations from Costa Rica to Hawaii. In the hope of replicating such fresh and refreshing tastes in their own homes, they opened a small cart in front of the Belmar, New Jersey, boardwalk.

Playa Bowls is considered to be the first acai bowl shop in New Jersey and one of the leading franchises of superfruit bowls in the country. Today, the company has more than 300 locations in 28 states and serves over 40 bowls, smoothies, juices, and cold brews made of quality ingredients.

This has made it win numerous industry awards, including Franchise Times, Forbes 30 Under 30, Fast Casual’s Top 100 Movers & Shakers, and QSR Young Leaders to Watch, emphasizing the need to keep the momentum and mission-driven culture that the brand has been pursuing.
