The Roses’ Taproom, a cult favorite spot in Oakland, recently announced that it is shutting down its in-house brewing operations. The taproom shared the official announcement on social media.

Roses’ Taproom Ends In-House Brewing 

Roses’ Taproom is a charming brewery with pastel and natural vibes, operated by Hillary Huffard and Luke Janson. The taproom is known for its in-house brews, wines, spritzes, and non-alcoholic drinks. It also offers bite-sized snacks to pair with the beverages.

After ten years of brewing and nearly 400 batches of beer later, the taproom is closing its doors at the end of this month. In the official Instagram post, it stated, “Roses’ has sadly come to the end of its time.”

The post also expressed gratitude to the taproom’s staff and the Oakland community for their support.

“Words cannot express the gratitude we have for having been able to be a part of this community. Thank you for sustaining us and for contributing to the transformation of what Roses’ has become, so far greater than what it began as nearly 10 years ago.”

The Taproom shared that in-house brewing is ending due to ongoing industry challenges. However, it has been assured that this is not the final chapter for them; rather, this transition will open doors for their future endeavors.
