This fall, Toronto welcomes Chagall, an intimate restaurant redefining the dining experience. The 32-seat restaurant helmed by Chef David Adjey (restaurateur and TV personality) will feature a globally inspired menu, refined cooking and a warm, elegant atmosphere; while observing the dietary laws of Kashruth.
Located in one of Yorkville’s most prestigious addresses, Chagall will offer dinner service five nights a week, from Sunday to Thursday. Guests can expect a menu designed for sharing and connection, starting with colourful starters and salads, followed by flavour-forward mains and USDA Prime premium steaks, delivering a perfect sear and tenderness often only found in New York’s best steakhouses.
“Chagall is about more than just what’s on the plate,” says Executive Chef David Adjey in a statement. “It’s about creating moments, whether it’s the art of tableside service, the surprise of dishes with global flavours, or the feeling of dining somewhere that’s intimate, refined, and featuring a fresh approach to kosher dining.”
The menu blends creativity with global influences, offering everything from mini tacos and fresh shareable salads to kosher ‘filets’ and richly sauced mains of global destinations. Inspired by destinations including Korea, Mexico and Thailand, Chagall will feature flavours rarely found in traditional kosher restaurants. A curated wine list and inventive cocktails complement the dishes, with an exclusive VIP liquor locker program for guests who want personalized storage for their favourite bottles.
Designed by Lori Morris of LMD Design, the restaurant features a blend of contrasting colours of natural stone, lux wood finishes, Catherine Martin Mokum fabrics, Murano Glass Chandeliers and custom fitted Italian furniture, creating a space that is both sophisticated and inviting.
For larger celebrations, the Chagall menu is available for private dining and events accommodating up to 300 guests throughout the Windsor Arms Hotel dining and event spaces.
Chagall will officially open its doors in November 2025, welcoming guests for dinner service from Sunday to Thursday.
