A popular craft beer tavern and grill in New Bedford is expanding to Wareham.

According to a report from Fun 107, The Pour Farm Tavern & Grille will open its second location at 196 Main St, taking over the former Scarlet Rose Bistro building, which has been vacant for about a year. Husband-and-wife owners Brad and Jen Cardoza confirmed the news in a Facebook post, writing, “The secret’s out!”

For months, the Cardozas have been quietly transforming the space, including expanding the kitchen to accommodate a larger, more inventive menu. At the New Bedford location, patrons enjoy plenty of bar food such as pizza, burgers, chicken wings, hot dogs, and sandwiches, alongside a rotating selection of craft beers.

Jen said the goal is to bring the same Pour Farm vibe to Wareham, complete with craft brews, elevated fare, and the warm neighborhood atmosphere fans know and love. While Scarlet Rose Bistro had a patio and alleyway seating, it’s unclear how many outdoor tables the new spot will include.

The Pour Farm team hopes to wrap up renovations by the end of 2025, though an official opening date is still TBD. Keep an eye on @pourfarmtavern for the latest updates.
