Chicken-centric franchise Super Chix has a new location on the way to the Charlotte market. Franchise group Power Brands Hospitality Group has plans to bring a new location to Gastonia in early 2026, according to its website. A precise address is still forthcoming.
This location will be the fifth in the area, joining spots in StoneCrest at Piper Glen, Strawberry Road, Fort Mill and Indian Land. Power Brands Hospitality Group is behind the StoneCrest at Piper Glen, Strawberry Road and Fort Mill locations, as well as additional spots in Madison, Hoover, Huntsville and Birmingham, Ala.
Super Chix serves chicken sandwiches, ranging from Nashville hot chicken to blackened Cajun chicken. Other menu items include hand-cut fries, salads, coleslaw, fried pickles and premium frozen custard.
The franchise launched in 2014 in Dallas and now has nearly 50 locations across the country.
Power Brands Hospitality Group was founded in 1991 in North Alabama and now operates multiple franchise concepts across the Southeast, including Biscuit Belly, Five Guys and Nothing Bundt Cakes. It is also the franchise group bringing PopUp Bagels to Charlotte and other markets across the Southeast. It is behind the new PopUp Bagels location at The Bowl at Ballantyne and the location opening at Plaza Midwood in early 2026.
