O-Ku Sushi is opening in Winter Park.

The sushi restaurant with locations in Nashville, Atlanta, Jacksonville, and more is opening a new location at 1311 Minnesota Avenue. O-Ku will be part of the reimagined Minnesota Row, a mixed-use development, formerly Winter Park Business Center. The restaurant is scheduled to open Spring 2026.

According to the restaurant’s website, the location, “blends timeless tradition with contemporary energy. Guests can expect clean, balanced flavors, refined design, and a space created for connection and celebration,” with Minnesota Row turning the area into a , “revitalized, walkable destination will introduce vibrant dining, retail, and creative spaces surrounded by lush landscaping, open greens, and an inviting central gathering plaza”.

Established in 2013 by The Indigo Road’s Steve Palmer, O-Ku Sushi offers authentic and innovative sushi and other Japanese favorites in beautiful settings. Sushi and sashimi are made with fresh fish sourced from global markets such as uni, salmon, eel, yellowtail, and golden eye snapper. The restaurant also offers Wagyu beef, crispy duck, tempura, soups, and more. O-Ku also offers an omakase experience for those who wish to partake.

Menu items can be paired with sake from its curated list, or a cocktail from its rotating seasonal menu of drinks. The restaurant also has a good selection of zero proof cocktails, along with wine and beer.
