Açaí Republic, the fast casual restaurant that offers bowls, smoothies, and more, is planning to open a new spot in Winter Springs.
The shop will open at 160 Tuskawilla Road, Suite 1207 by the end of the year, according to co-owner Priscilla Silva.
Silva and her husband Anderson Rocha, already own the Altamonte Springs location of Acaí Republic, which proved to be so successful, they opted to open a second shop. Silva tells What Now Orlando that they chose Winter Springs for its warm neighborhood feel. “There’s a sense of community here. It’s an area that attracts families with kids, so it’s a natural fit for what we offer.”
A native of Brazil, Silva says the bowls and smoothies at Acaí Republic remind her of home. “The açaí we use is natural and comes directly from Brazil,” says Silva. According to a company Instagram post, the acaí used is sourced from ecologically correct farms that not only promote the local economy but also support vital social projects in Brazil. Company representatives visit the farms annually to monitor the harvest process to ensure the acaí is produced sustainably.
Acaí Republic’s other ingredients are just as fresh, with juices freshly squeezed with no additional sugars. The result is a rainbow of bowls, smoothies, and juices that are all natural and vegan.
