An upscale equestrian-themed pub is coming to Ocala’s World Equestrian Center.
The Polo Pony is set to open at the World Equestrian Center’s brand new Equestrian Manor, a world-class conference center and entertainment hub that encompasses more than 303,000 square feet of event space, located at 8050 NW 17th Place, adjacent to the center’s Riding Academy Hotel. The Polo Pony is scheduled to open by the end of December 2025.
The restaurant will offer dining in several settings including a dining room, outdoor patio, and private dining areas.
A complete menu is not yet available, but the website provides insight regarding the culinary choices awaiting diners: butter poached mini lobster rolls, duck confit fries, truffle-accented steak frites, Certified Angus beef burgers, salads, and buttermilk fried quail and waffles will all be on the menu. Diners will want to save room for the Polo Pony’s indulgent 20-layer chocolate cake for dessert.
The bar will offer a full cocktail menu, along with a 32-tap beer program that features classic beers alongside new favorites from local breweries.
The Polo Pony is located on the grounds of the World Equestrian Center, a massive event center and tourist destination that’s sometimes referred to as the “Disney World of Horses”. The Center has an ongoing schedule of equestrian events along with two resort hotels, shopping, restaurants, and facilities for horses.
