What Now reported earlier this summer on Cameron Mitchell Restaurants’ plans to launch a new outpost of its Del Mar restaurant in Fort Lauderdale. The Fort Lauderdale location successfully opened this month, and Cameron Mitchell Restaurants is already at work on its next South Florida Del Mar opening.

This time, the brand is headed to West Palm Beach, where it will open in the NORA District, according to coverage by the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. An opening is expected in mid-2026.

Now open at 2200 N Ocean Boulevard, Del Mar Fort Lauderdale offers a dinner menu featuring seafood dishes like the Open Fire Roasted Shellfish Platter, with South African lobster tail, scallops, prawns, clams, mussles, and garlic lemon. Starters include Charred Octopus (bell pepper vinaigrette, onion, cilantro pesto, espelette), Calamari, and Loaded Hummus (“loaded” with pomegranate braised lamb and green tahini); while mains include Lobster Spaghetti, Truffle Agnolotti, and Sea Bass with heirloom tomato broth, fennel confit, and citrus labneh.

It’s not yet known how a West Palm Beach Del Mar’s menu might differ from the Fort Lauderdale location.

“Inspired by Mediterranean coastal cuisine, Del Mar features flavors from a variety of southern European countries, with a rotating and seasonal made-from-scratch menu that showcases a variety of seafood accompanied by fresh produce and cheeses, rich olive oil and earthy spice blends,” says a description on the Del Mar website. “Handcrafted cocktails with refreshing flavors pair perfectly with the dishes and invite guests to relax amongst a scene of lush greenery and European-inspired architecture.”
