The retail center on the southeast corner of North 56th Street and Chicago Avenue in Temple Terrace will soon be home to a brand-new sweets shop. Called Aker Sweets, it will open at 8633 N 56th Street, according to plan review paperwork submitted by INTLVEST EDGE LLC.
Few details are available about Aker Sweets just yet. What Now contacted Fadi Ashayer, a partner in the project, on Wednesday to ask about plans for the opening and the scoop on the menu. Ashayer declined to share any details just yet.
Opening in the North 56th Street location, Aker Sweets will join a food and drink community that includes Stefano Greek Italian Restaurant, Gaspar’s Patio Bar & Grill, and Zen Noodle Bar. Something sweet may be just what the area needs!
The location is part of Enigma Plaza.
