LV Petroleum, a multi-concept franchisee with a portfolio that includes dozens of restaurant brands, is up to big things in Las Vegas. Just this week, What Now came across plan review paperwork for not one, not two, but three different restaurants coming down the LVP pipeline.
First, paperwork was submitted to Clark County for a new Sbarro location, opening at 6315 S Decatur Blvd. The iconic pizza brand, known as the “Home of the Original XL NY Pizza,” has a strong presence in Vegas and around the country.
Then came another QSR concept: Jimmy John’s, which submitted documents show opening at the same address. Founded in 1983 in Charleston, IL, the sandwich brand promises “The Freshest Ingredients”: “We use fresh vegetables because we don’t hate salads, we just feel bad for them. We slice our provolone cheese and premium meats in-house every day, because packaged pre-sliced meats doesn’t have the same ring to it. And we bake bread all day, every day because stale bread isn’t bread, it’s…croutons.”
Finally, a new Checkers & Rally’s location looks to be in the works nearby at 6435 S Decatur Blvd (the submitted paperwork calls it a Rally’s). Earlier this year, coverage by QSRWeb.com explored LV Petroleum’s plans for Checkers & Rally’s.
“It’s a very nostalgic brand for us,” Senior Vice President Jeanette Davis said in the coverage. “I can remember going to Checkers & Rally’s when my kids were growing up. It was the best place to go after a ball game. I could take the kids as a single mom and have a meal for like $5 for the kids.”
That’s a lot of news all in one place! Stay tuned!
