La Lupita Taco & Mezcal Nearing US Debut

The celebrated concept will be opening in the Design District early next year.

Dallas taco enthusiasts have a new reason to countdown to 2026. La Lupita Taco & Mezcal, a concept which boasts the distinction of serving the best tacos in Los Cabos, is making its United States debut, and its chosen the Design District as its first US home, reports the Dallas Business Journal.

 

La Lupita will be making its auspicious entrance into the US dining scene at 1201 Oak Lawn Avenue. According to paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the restaurant will occupy a renovated 4,255 square foot space. A precise opening date is not presently available, however La Lupita should be ready to feed hungry guests early next year.

 

La Lupita’s arrival will certainly set the DFW foodie scene ablaze. The concept has earned widespread acclaim, including recognition from GOOP, Condé Nast Traveler, and Marie Claire. The restaurant sets itself apart “by offering innovative and unique culinary experiences that highlight traditional ingredients and ancestral cooking methods, all within the vibrant spirit that has always defined us.”
