Restaurants in Metro Atlanta are routinely inspected by the GNR County Health Departments. While a score of 70 or higher is considered passing, some restaurants do not meet this mark. Here are some of the restaurants that underwent an inspection in November 2025.
Restaurant Awaiting Follow-Up After Unsatisfactory Score
While most of the restaurants have passed their reinspection, one restaurant is awaiting the follow-up. Here are the details related to the restaurant inspection.
Kang’s Table

- Where: 3312 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Suite 5, Duluth, GA 30096
- When: November 26, 2025
- Score: 54 U
The Duluth restaurant scored 54 after multiple violations were noted. Most were linked to managerial oversight, and some employee practices failed to meet sanitation standards.
The facility’s food handling methods were also improper. TCS foods were unable to cool down properly within the set time, and the raw fish thawing method was also wrong. There was also a lack of chlorine test strips and common name labels on containers. A follow-up inspection will be held within 10 days, and the facility needs to get a minimum score of 80.
Restaurants Passing Follow-Up After Unsatisfactory Scores
Two Atlanta restaurants initially scored unsatisfactory but passed follow-up inspections after making the necessary corrections. Here are the details of the same.
Gohan AYCE Buffet

- Where: 2205 Pleasant Hill Rd, Suite 100, Duluth, GA 30096
- Follow-Up Date: November 13, 2025
- Follow-Up Score: 81 B
Gohan AYCE Buffet scored unsatisfactorily on November 4, 2025, during a routine inspection. While the facility received a score of 60 in this inspection, it soon went on to correct the noted violations. This resulted in its score being 81 in the follow-up inspection.
Along with the score, the restaurant received a “B” grade. However, inspectors have noted some changes that need to be made. An additional routine inspection will be conducted within 12 months.
MLBB Hot Pot

- Where: 3500 Gwinnett Place Dr NW, Suite 10, Duluth, GA 30096
- Follow-Up Date: November 14, 2025
- Follow-Up Score: 96 A
MLBB Hot Pot received a score of 51 in a routine inspection on November 6, 2025. The report revealed some repeated violations at the restaurant, which resulted in the score. The restaurant addressed the violations identified in the report.
In the follow-up inspection, the restaurant received a score of 96 along with an “A” grade. Two minor violations were noted during this reinspection. The facility will undergo an additional routine inspection, which will be held within 12 months.
