The Vault-Tec Supply Pack, based on the Fallout theme, made a fast impact this fall. The product sold out within days after the pallets landed at select Costco locations across the Northeast. The limited-edition bundle features a 12-pack of game-inspired sodas.

Massive Demand Encourages Jones Soda to Launch National Rollout

Besides featuring game-inspired sodas, the packs are also bundled with exclusive Fallout collectibles that fans of the franchise love. The overwhelmingly positive response from early buyers and the demand for widespread availability encouraged the brand to scale up.

Jones Soda is now collaborating with Costco and working around the clock to expand the product nationally. According to PRNewswire, shipments began arriving last week and will continue in the coming days.

Jones Soda Shatters Online Sales Records

The in-store launch follows a six-week surge in online sales of Sunset Sarsaparilla 4-packs. The bundles, packed with four themed postcards and a custom carrier, sent the fans to the Jones Soda website.

The engagement broke the records of many firms for a day. The record-setting online performance continued the momentum, and after a massive hype, the brand revealed the Blue Star Cap. Hidden in one in 12 caps of Sunset Sarsaparilla, it grants entry to a real-world sweepstakes that pays tribute to a soda promotion in Fallout: New Vegas.

Jones Soda introduces Rocket Bottle

Jones Soda also recently released a new “Rocket Bottle,” called Nuka-Cola Quantum. The drink is the iconic flagship product of the fictional Nuka-Cola Corporation from the popular game series.

Online sales for the Rocket Bottle begin this December, with broader store distribution planned during the first quarter. “The enthusiasm from Fallout fans has been incredible,” said Scott Harvey, CEO at Jones Soda Co.

“From the start, we knew the Vault-Tec Supply Pack and custom 4-Pack were something special. The sales further demonstrate that. Now, excitement around the Rocket Bottle seems to be even more intense. All of this consumer response only reinforces why we do what we do — creating products that fans genuinely get excited about and taste great,” Harvey added.

With initial stock selling out quickly and the new Nuka-Cola Quantum release on the horizon, the Fallout-themed lineup appears to be resonating widely.
