Owners of a new coffee shop have big plans for late 2025 or early 2026.

Salt Coffee’s social media has been teasing their new shop opening in the near future. The shop is thought to be coming to  an address just outside the Portland area, and co-owner Mackenzie Mozingo told What Now Portland they are not yet disclosing the location.

“Something bold is brewing,” says the description on their Instagram page.

For the menu, they will serve coffees with flavors paired with salt, hence the name. This includes caramel, maple and vanilla. There are talks of adding protein to the drinks, and an official menu will be released soon.

From a November post, the shop looks to be going near the Cowboy Coffee location in Molalla at 806 E Main Street. This has not been confirmed, but construction is happening inside the building.

“Our mission is to be a bright spot in your day to day activities and fill your cup (literally) and figuratively with a smile, humor and a top notch customer service experience,” says a recent post on their Instagram.

What Now Portland has reached out to the owners about an official address and opening date, and this article may be updated.
