Popular Buckhead eatery was forced to close after a fire last December.

OK Cafe reopened Monday for lunch and dinner, though it’s official reopening is set for October 14, according to a report from the AJC.

The popular diner at the intersection of Northside Parkway and West Paces Ferry Road had to close this past December after a fire broke out.

No one was hurt, but it’s taken the restaurant ten months and 1.3 million dollars in restorations to get the eatery ready for business again.

OK Cafe first opened in July 1987 and quickly became one of the most popular spots in Buckhead, known for its Southern-style food and breakfast dishes.
